Next week will be the 10th anniversary for the famous BFBC2 (Bad Company 2). Many fans have stated over the years that they would love to see a remake. According to BATTLEFIELD wiki, former DICE CEO Karl Troedsson stated, “it will be back at some point.”
Earlier this week, popular content creator and DICE friend JackFrags stated that despite DICE stating the next title won’t release until 2022, the fiscal year allows that the game may drop in late 2021. It’s not like we haven’t seen DICE secretly get to working on new games while the current releases game is still active. One could argue that it is actually very likely that the next BATTLEFIELD is already in development, given that BATTLEFIELD V did not make selling expectations and has a very rocky reputation with its BATTLEFIELD franchise fans, both new and old. So the question remains: will we be seeing BATTLEFIELD’s new game release in 2021? And what are the odds we will see BFBC3 in the near future? - Noah Daly Founder of UGLYGAMING
